The National Conference on Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Prevention has grown dramatically over the years as more and more communities recognize the importance and overwhelming value of child abuse prevention. Our theme, "Imagine...a Safer World for Children," continues to drive our efforts in child sexual abuse and exploitation prevention as the dangers of cyberspace increase and continue to threaten our children everyday.
Highlights include:
Sandy Wurtele, PhD - Keeping Your Teens Safe Online: Debunking the Myths of Cyber Predators
Richard Love - Sexting: The Dangers Children Face
Cordelia Anderson - Countering Demand: Why Addressing the Environment, Policy and Organizational Practices Matters for Prevention
Robin Sax- Human Trafficking: A Problem of Language, How to Utilize the Media for Effective Advocacy
This year's conference promises to be a tremendously rewarding experience for all of you. Not only will you have the opportunity to hear from an outstanding training faculty on a wide variety of child abuse prevention subjects, but you will be able to enjoy the spirit of the city of New Orleans and all it has to offer!
