Understanding Youth Populations with Low-Cognitive Disorder and Mental Illness

In this all-day workshop, registrants will gain techniques and strategies for working with clients affected by co-occurring I/DD and mental health disorders, understand the prevalence of co-occurring I/DD and mental health disorders, EBP adaptations, using assessment tools to measure progress, treatment planning, medication management, and working with caregivers and psychiatrists.

Presented by: Bill Reay, Ph.D. and president, Omni Inventive Care, Omaha NE

Intended audience: mental health therapists, probation workers, case managers, providers, direct care staff, criminal justice and law enforcement, community stakeholders, and family members.

$20 registration fee includes continental breakfast, light afternoon snack, and 5.5 social work/mental health and criminogenic approved CEUs.
