Brian Schmidt
Brian Schmidt is the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for the Nebraska Alliance, where he will support internal and external communications, contribute to marketing campaigns, assist with website production, and develop written, visual, and video content for newsletters and social media.
Prior to joining the Nebraska Alliance, Brian served as a Digital Production Manager for DSS Coin and Bullion, where he managed live-stream auction productions across platforms such as Whatnot and TikTok. In this role, he oversaw lighting, camera, and audio setup, while also producing digital assets including thumbnails and video content. He has also collaborated with Learning For ALL, a nonprofit offering ESL and GED courses to non-native English speakers, where he contributed to weekly newsletters and produced community spotlight videos.
Brian earned two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, one in English Creative Non-fiction and one in Music Entrepreneurship. Outside of work, he enjoys freelance concert photography, skateboarding, and spending time with his wife and cat while watching “bad movies.”
