Kristin Chandler
Kristin joined the Nebraska Alliance in 2019 as the Statewide MDT Coordinator and, in 2023, transitioned into her current role as Director of Membership and Programs. As part of the senior leadership team, she oversees membership engagement, training, and program development. Kristin works closely with Child Advocacy Centers, multidisciplinary teams, and partner agencies across Nebraska to assess needs, design and deliver trainings, and provide technical assistance. She also supervises and supports the Alliance’s programming staff, ensuring strong services and resources for members statewide.
Before joining the Nebraska Alliance, Kristin served as a caseworker and supervisor with PromiseShip, the state’s contracted provider for child welfare services in the Eastern Service Area at the time. During her time there, she was an active member of the Douglas County Sexual Abuse MDT.
Kristin holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, shopping, volunteering, serving on boards, and spending time with family, friends, her husband of 11 years, and their pets—including two dogs and a few outdoor rabbits.
