Sadie Meyerink

Sadie Meyerink serves as the Advocate and Mental Health Engagement Coordinator. She brings a strong background in mental health and substance use treatment coordination, with a particular passion for supporting system-impacted individuals navigating crisis and complex systems of care.

Before joining the Nebraska Alliance, Sadie worked with RISE, supporting individuals navigating the pretrial system and incarceration in Nebraska county jails. In this role, she gained extensive experience working with individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges, helping them navigate the legal system, access treatment and support services, and connect with local community resources.

Sadie also has experience working as a Paralegal and Firm Treatment Coordinator for criminal defense and civil litigation firms, where she developed a deep understanding of the intersection between legal systems, behavioral health, and community-based support.

Sadie holds a master’s degree in Criminology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is passionate about trauma-informed care, mental health advocacy, and creating systems that help people feel supported, understood, and empowered.
